Ashley attained her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a companion animal emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. While in college she partook in a unique internship program, called the A.D.E.P.T. Program, which dual purpose trained dogs for diabetic alert and physical/mobility assistance. Throughout college Ashley’s passion for educating others about animal welfare, training and the service dog industry continued to grow and has lead her to a career working with animals. Her background also includes working in one of the top boarding facilities and working for one of the top three rescues in the state of Minnesota. In addition to working at Project Delta, Ashley currently works at a small animal veterinary clinic north west of the cities.
In her free time she enjoys traveling, kayaking, horseback riding, camping, thrifting and sewing. She also enjoys spending time with family, taking long walks with her dogs, Missy and Delphe and going on hikes with her cat Dave.
