Meet Ashley
Ashley earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a companion animal emphasis from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls. During her studies, she participated in the highly specialized A.D.E.P.T. Program, an immersive internship designed to train dogs for diabetic alert and physical/mobility assistance work. This hands-on experience laid a strong foundation for her career in animal training and welfare.
Ashley is a professional trainer and an AKC Approved Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator, bringing both practical experience and nationally recognized credentials to her work. She has trained a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, and even chickens, demonstrating a deep understanding of animal behavior across species. Throughout college, her passion for educating others about animal welfare, effective training methods, and the service dog industry continued to grow, ultimately shaping her career working with animals.
Her background includes working at one of the top boarding facilities, as well as with one of the top three animal rescues in the state of Minnesota. In addition to her role at Project Delta, Ashley currently works as a Clinic Administrator at a small animal veterinary clinic located northwest of the Twin Cities, further strengthening her expertise in animal health, operations, and client care.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys traveling, kayaking, horseback riding, camping, thrifting, and sewing. She loves spending time with her family, hanging out with her chickens, and taking her dogs on walks. On occasion, she even enjoys backpacking with her adventurous cat, Dave.
