Meet Denise
Denise is an experienced professional dog trainer with more than two decades of hands-on expertise working with high-drive, working-line German Shepherds and other service-capable breeds. As the daughter of a United States Marine, she grew up with a deep respect for service, discipline, and purpose, values that continue to guide her approach to training and her commitment to supporting first responders and veterans today.
With extensive experience in obedience, advanced behavior development, protection work, sport preparation, and narcotics detection, Denise has spent her career training dogs to perform reliably in real-world environments. She is known for her calm, structured training style that builds clarity, confidence, and strong communication between dog and handler. Her background raising and developing dogs from puppyhood through advanced working roles gives her a unique ability to tailor training plans to each dog’s individual drives, temperament, and learning needs.
Driven by a genuine desire to give back to those who have served, Denise is passionate about supporting Project Delta’s mission of pairing highly trained service dogs with veterans and first responders as well as facility dogs with police departments and dispatch centers. Her dedication, professional expertise, and personal connection to the military community make her deeply aligned with Project Delta’s values of service, partnership, and life-changing impact.
Denise is committed to helping veterans and first responders and their canine partners build strong, lasting bonds that enhance confidence, independence and desire to help each dog and handler succeed.
